What to Expect
We understand that seeing a chiropractor for the first time can be intimidating. So at Inspire Chiropractic, we strive to make sure you have a welcoming and positive experience. Whatever pain you’re dealing with, our goal is to help you understand what is causing it and how to treat it.
New Patient Paperwork
When you come into our office as a new patient, there will be some initial paperwork to fill out which Dr. Laura will review with you during your appointment.
Initial Exam
To get a better understanding of what is going on, Dr. Laura will conduct an initial exam which includes checking your range of motion, muscle strength, and reflexes as well as conducting orthopedic exams.
Review of Findings
At this point, Dr. Laura will determine if you are ready for an adjustment or if she needs to send you somewhere else.
Treatment Recommendations
Following the adjustment, Dr. Laura will make recommendations about when your next visit should occur and give you any other needed instruction.
In general, we do NOT take x-rays in our office. If we feel that you need x-rays, we will refer you out for them or have you sign a release so that we may get a copy of your x-rays. We accept all major insurance companies including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Coventry, Medicare, Medicaid, Midlands Choice, and United Healthcare.
